Ages 10-12
The Junior Division is designed for growing dancers who are ready to refine their technique, expand their training, and begin developing a deeper sense of artistry. Classes offer a balance of structure, creativity, and challenge—empowering students to grow as both skilled movers and expressive performers.

Ages 10-12
This division serves students ages 10 through 12, with two levels to ensure proper pacing and challenge:
Level B – For students who are new to dance or new to a specific style
Level A – For returning dancers or those with a solid foundation in technique. Evaluation and placement required.
This thoughtful structure helps each dancer feel successful while progressing at the pace that’s right for them.

Class Offerings
Junior Division students may enroll in the following styles:
Ballet – Continued focus on alignment, technique, and vocabulary expansion
Modern – Emphasis on grounded movement, dynamic expression, and improvisation
Contemporary – Fluid transitions, floorwork, and emotional storytelling through movement
Jazz – Rhythmic coordination, stylized choreography, and performance energy
Tap – Musical timing, clarity of sound, and complex rhythm patterns
Hip Hop – Strengthening personal style and musicality through upbeat choreography
Acrobatics – Skill progression including walkovers, partner balances, aerial prep, and strength-based movement
Pointe I– Open to female-identifying and nonbinary students enrolled in ballet. PLEASE NOTE - this class is to build dancers up to being on pointe. Class will be taken in flat shoes until teacher approval for pointe shoes.
Men’s Technique –Open to male-identifying and nonbinary students enrolled in ballet, seeking specialized classical training
Pas de Deux –Open to students concurrently enrolled in Ballet and Pointe; placement required
Contemporary Partnering – Open to students with experience in contemporary technique; placement required.
Students are encouraged to train in multiple disciplines to support versatility and holistic development.

Begin preparing for more advanced repertory, choreography, and performance opportunities
