RISING ARTIST SCHOLARSHIP

The Rising Artist Scholarship at Iowa Dance Collective exists to remove barriers and uplift passionate young artists by providing access to high-quality dance training and creative opportunities. This scholarship program supports dancers who demonstrate commitment, willingness, and a passion for dance.

Scholarship Tiers

We offer two types of Rising Artist Scholarships:

  • Full Scholarship
    Covers 100% of tuition for all required technique and repertory classes at Iowa Dance Collective.

  • Partial Scholarship
    Covers a significant portion of tuition costs. The exact amount awarded is based on the applicant’s demonstrated need and program participation.

Each award is granted for the full academic year (2026-2027), pending satisfactory attendance, engagement, and continued growth.

What the Scholarship Includes

All recipients—full or partial—receive access to:

  • Required technique and repertory classes

  • Special workshops and guest artist events

  • Individualized mentorship and goal setting with IDC faculty

  • Support from a nurturing and inspiring dance community

Who Should Apply?

The Rising Artist Scholarship is open to any student enrolled in Iowa Dance Collective's Children’s Division through Senior Division who:

  • Demonstrates dedication, a growth mindset, and artistic passion

  • Is available to attend all required classes and studio events

  • Would benefit from financial assistance to pursue high-level dance training

We welcome students from all backgrounds and experience levels who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our vibrant artistic environment.
