The Senior Division is designed for passionate and dedicated students who are ready to commit to a deeper exploration of dance as both a technical craft and a form of personal expression. Whether students are dancing recreationally or preparing for collegiate or professional opportunities, the Senior Division provides the rigor, mentorship, and creative space to help them thrive.

Ages 13+
The Senior Division is open to students ages 13 and up, with two levels to ensure proper placement:
Level B – For students who are newer to dance or returning after a break
Level A – For dancers with prior training who are ready for more advanced work. Evaluation and placement required.
This structure allows students to grow at their own pace while maintaining high standards of artistry, discipline, and community.

Class Offerings
Senior Division students may enroll in the following styles:
Ballet – Advanced technique, alignment, and musicality with optional pointe work
Modern – Emphasis on grounded technique, improvisation, and expressive movement
Contemporary – Fusion of technical precision and emotional depth through choreography and floorwork
Jazz – Dynamic movement, stylistic versatility, and performance quality
Tap – Complex rhythms, musical precision, and creative phrasing
Hip Hop – Confidence, athleticism, and musicality through high-energy movement
Acrobatics – Advanced tumbling, aerial work, partnering, and strength-based acro-dance skills
Pointe II – Open to female-identifying and nonbinary students enrolled in ballet. PLEASE NOTE - this class is to build dancers up to being on pointe. Class will be taken in flat shoes until teacher approval for pointe shoes.
Men’s Technique –Open to male-identifying and nonbinary students enrolled in ballet, seeking specialized classical training
Pas de Deux –Open to students concurrently enrolled in Ballet and Pointe; placement required
Contemporary Partnering – Open to students with experience in contemporary technique; placement required.
Dancers are encouraged to explore a wide range of styles to build versatility and prepare for a variety of artistic pathways.

Preparing for auditions, choreography, and pre-professional opportunities

All Senior Division students are featured in our annual spring concert and have access to additional performance, workshop, and mentorship opportunities throughout the year.
