Ages 7-9
The Primary Division is where dancers begin to deepen their understanding of technique while expanding their movement vocabulary across multiple styles. In a supportive, focused, and fun environment, students explore artistic expression, body awareness, and classroom discipline as they continue their dance education.

Ages 7-9
This division is designed for dancers ages 7 through 9, with two levels to support each student’s growth:
Level B – For beginners or those new to formal technique classes
Level A – For returning dancers or those with prior experience in foundational training. Evaluation and placement required.
This two-level structure ensures students are placed where they can feel confident, challenged, and successful.

Class Offerings
Primary Division students may enroll in the following styles:
Ballet – Continued development of posture, alignment, and classical vocabulary
Modern – Introduction to grounded movement, improvisation, and expressive range
Contemporary – Blending technical structure with fluidity and storytelling
Jazz – High-energy combinations, musicality, and stylized movement
Tap – Building rhythm, clarity, and coordination through percussive footwork
Hip Hop – Focused on rhythm, groove, and confidence in movement
Acrobatics – Developing strength, flexibility, and control through age-appropriate tumbling skills including handstands, bridges, cartwheels, and balance work
Students are encouraged to explore multiple styles as they begin to discover their unique interests and strengths.
